The Marple Newtown Parade Committee formed in 1984 with members representing organizations throughout the communities. We are pleased to celebrate our great country with the residents of Marple and Newtown and surrounding areas. We are always amazed by the patriotism and creativity on display at the parade.
"Celebrate-in-place" with our Red, White, and YOU! Decorating Contest
Let's come together to turn our towns Red, White, and Blue for Independence Day. All residents, businesses, and organizations are invited to join our first, and hopefully annual, community decorating contest. Entries will be judged and winners chosen. Register online below OR by mail-in printable form by June 24th. A map of entries will be published so that your wonderful creativity can be enjoyed by all. Please read our Contest Guidelines below for more information. Show your patriotic spirit and have fun. We can't wait to see what (red, white, and) YOU can do!
